Reviews and Ratings
Lagarta Lodge is a hidden gem that offers a truly relaxing experience surrounded by breathtaking views and the sounds of nature. The rooms are spacious and clean, with large balconies that provide incredible vistas. The staff is notably warm and accommodating. On the downside, the road leading to the hotel can be challenging, and the lack of a fitness center might be a drawback for some. However, the overall experience and value for money make it worth considering.
While the hotel has breathtaking views and a fantastic ambiance, the service left much to be desired, especially in the dining area. The room conditions were generally good, but there were shortcomings in housekeeping that can't be ignored. Additionally, the remote location may be an inconvenience for some guests looking for easy access to the town.
My stay at Lagarta Lodge was a dreamy escape with incredible ocean views and an immersive nature experience. The rooms were spacious, and the staff’s customer service was top-notch. However, I did face some pesky bugs, and getting there is quite the journey on a bumpy road. Lastly, I found the secluded location a bit far from other amenities.
The hotel is a hidden paradise with breathtaking views overlooking a jungle preserve and the ocean. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, making for a relaxing stay. Though the dining experience was impressive, the service could be improved as there were some missed opportunities, especially with reservations. Despite this, the serene environment offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience that feels cozy and welcoming.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is perched on a bluff with spectacular ocean views. The rooms were comfortable and included private terraces for lounging. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the breakfast was a highlight. However, the location is a bit remote, requiring a car to access town and nearby beaches, so if you prefer staying closer to the action, this may not be the best spot. Overall, it was a great value for the price we paid.
